Nene Mcdonald

Do we make a play for him - if SIVO leaves and we miss out on Wilson?

  • Good God no.

    • With u bem

  • Nope.

  • Yea has always had great talent but attitude and offield issues have been a problem

  • He had a great game for PNG, MOM. Played fullback, ran the ball strongly and was good under the high ball, defended well also.

There is an article that says he has changed his off field behaviour and the results are improved performance on the field. He came 4th in the Man of Steel last season and would like another go at NRL. A cheap 2yr deal could pay off, he is a strong carrier of the ball and physical in defence.

Wouldn't be the worst depth signing, but you wouldn't go there if we can get Wilson or some other promising back.

  • Get me the Fox

    • 🙏

      • I'm waiting my son?

Actually Nene would not be as bad as you think, if he played last year, he would be top 3 in the backline!

    • Dragons bound

  • He must be nearly 40 by now.

"Yea I like Samrani as a 17 rather than a starting backrower. Tuilagi will probably be selected this week with Guymer back on the bench or cup. Latu needs a couple more games in Cup before being a chance of NRL selection I would think."

"Yep thats the thing. I dont think anyone expected some players to be so much on the outer and JR blood so many younger players. Its why we are suffering this short term pain. Hopefully its better for the long run."
