NATHAN HINDMARSH - THANK YOU

His efforts last Friday night speak no less than his efforts he has carried across the rest of this season.

Hindy, you always have been and you will continue to be a leader and legend until you hang up your boots.

116 metres made, 70 tackles, 6 missed, 1 error, 3 tackle breaks and 2 offloads.

How the ref called Ryles a try when he lost the ball after you bailed him up in goal is beyond me.

You bust your arse week in week out and I wish everyone in our team had the motor, passion and

intepretaion you do of the game. I think some do just without your consistency.

Well done Captain.

  • and people asked why he was taken off
  • Here, here.
  • Yep, there will never be another player like him, 50 plus tackles a game, always there to stop a try, always there to pick up the dropped ball, always the guy to chase down the player who has made a break. Probably the greatest all round defensive player the game has seen.
  • Well said. Yep Hindy did all he have done.
  • Hindy is one of Parra's greatest ever players, and if retires without a GF win i will hate the Cheating Melbourne Merkins even more. He has carried this team for 10 years and it is scary to think how we will ever replace him.......
    • Michael Luck - 78 tackles.
  • Hindy is the best defensive player the game has ever seen. He will be sorely missed when he retires. Hopefully we can send him off with a premiership, I was gutted that we couldn't win one with Cayless and hopefully Hindy will have one after next season.
  • These stats epitomise the man, that is Nathan Hindmarsh.
  • how many of those "70" tackles actually hurt the opposition???

    • fiddy I have stayed away from name calling since I joined this site but you are a goose of the highest order. play run at me with hindy I'm guessing you'll change your mind
