  • He deserves this IMO - he's bled for this team when we others didn't put in half as much effort as he has...

He will be running through walls come Sunday - can't wait to see it.

    • I believe we need another forward on the bench replacing JA

      • We been running the 3 bench rotation pretty much all year to keep jr and regs on longer

      • True but this is the next best thing.

        I'd rather Nrown over Carty.

Carty over JA everyday of the week and twice on Sunday but that ain't happening - no way BA doesn't pick his son. Disgraceful as it is, that's what will happen.

      • I hope the first 3 picked on the bench are Matterson, N Brown, Kaufusi, with Niukore in 13. Really any one of them in 13.

That leaves 1 spot for either Cartwright, Makatoa or JA.

        Cartwright:

Scary to think which Cartwright will turn up, as chief says Rocks and Diamonds.

I can see us leading by 4 with 10 seconds to go and Cartwright throwing a no look pass that gets intercepted and they score after the Siren to win by 2.

Makatoa: I dont think we need him with Brown coming back and the other bench players as above.

JA: With Brown coming back and the other bench players as above, maybe we can afford to have him sitting there just in case Mosses or D Brown go down. God hope not as we wont win if either of them go off.

Out of these 3 i would prefer Cartwright if i knew he wouldn't do anything stupid. I dont like the comment he said early in the year.

“Luckily the game was already out of reach by then, but even if the scores were even, I was going for it - [coach] Brad [Arthur] probably doesn’t want to hear that,” Cartwright told the Herald. “It sort of just happened. I played basketball when I was growing up, I still play now, so it’s come from there.

I honestly beleive this comment may be what has kept him out of the team?

But I am leaning towards Cartwright after a very Stern talking to from BA about any potential brian explosions. Take the punt that Mosses and D Brown will get through the game and we may need Cartwright to some magic basketball trick with control and not a hail mary.

      • Exactly

  • He has to bazza. Cartwright was again rocks n diamonds and cant be trusted with his erratic ball play.  Brown deserves the gf. Gave his all for the club over many years

  • Yes welcome back browny!!

Him, Niukore and Matterson offers us alot :)

  • Dont know how i feel like this, how long since NB has played?

Is he going to have the fitness?

He also has a few mistakes in him, i hope we are doing the right thing here.

    • He is also too easily distracted and drawn into squables with the opposition. If he plays he will be baited by Penrith and will end up a liability to our team rather than an asset.
