Moving Forward

Obviously it's a shame Galvin has chosen to go to the dogs but, for us nothing much changes this season. Team will need to continue on the same path and obviously we will have other targets for the 6. Main thing to remember is if Galvin wanted to be at Parra the option was there. Obviously his heart wasn't in it so need to keep pushing forward

  • Lorenzo Talataina.Your time to shine mate. Him and Twiddleto fight for the spot

    • You see people talk about Twiddle like he is the next Moses or Tedesco. He's got quite the highlights reel so far and I would love to see him as the 5/8 next year. But he needs to be in NSW cup at 6 for most of this year.

      • I like Twiddle. He has so much utlity value that he could be like Moses, Tedesco, Watson or Walker. Very interested on how eels view him long term.

  • Joash to 6

  • So much talent coming through in the lower grades. Papali could go to five eight or even Dean Hawkins. Plus I bet Galvin will start crying if dogs go through a losing stage

  • Anyone suggesting Hawkins is the man is hilarious.

  • Well said

  • Lot of Eels fans upset Galvin isnt coming. I couldn't care less. I just don't like his playing style and not worth the money being thrown around.

Maybe Burton might agitate for a release or maybe MON and our board might grow a set and and raid a couple young Dogs halves? Just like we did to Penrith with Iongi.

Sandon Smith or Jonah Pezet ?

Either way, there's potentially already in Joash Papalii... perhaps even Hawkins/Moses combination?

    • Sandon Smith should 100% be the target, he's playing great footy and would be from that roosters system. Need to make sure Mitch has a solid nrl 6 along side him.

      • Absolutely not. Had his chance at the Roosters & didn't nail his position.
