I was kinda hoping moses would not play world cup so he could focus on the eels and not be a risk injury wise, but alas, with Cleary out of action now, surely moses is a walk up start to the 7 jersey. Lets just hope he stays injury free, and will also come back later into pre-season trianing. i know im being selfish here, i should be saying good luck and well done, but i just know he will pick up an injury and be out at the start of next season as a result.

Maybe, but Walker has had a breakout in origin since that English tour (which Moses went on and didn't play the Tests), Walker also was instrumental in his prelim(MOM) comeback game and arguably plays for GF Winner this week and lets not forget that he is a Qlder and his family are all close with the Walters family.
On top of this Munster at 5/8 and the Qld Hooker, who is a disaster for Moses......doesn't seem to recognise him as the play maker, trust me he will pass off the ruck to Munster as much as he can get away with, alternatively pass when the long kick is on.
Look, it's just a few games, with intensity way down on Origin. I think Ryles has come to the conclusion that Moses won't be around week in week out, hence trying to sign Volkman as back-up half, who is likely to play a significant role in 2027 anyway. The more exposue Moses gets to elite football the better he will be, and can hopefully bring some of that back to the club. It's just a shame we don't have anyone else even close to consideration for Kangaroos selection.
JAC would have been a roughie, Marky Mark out and lots of wingers injured or out of form.
