What about a switch of Moses to 5/8 - Ethan Sanders to Half.
We can use DB as Centre or switch with Gutho depending on scenario.
Moses played 5/8 a bit with Luke Brooks at Tigers!
Gives Sanders a real opportunity and maybe fixes our strike letting Moses and DB run more.
What does everyone think?

That's a big No
No. You have weakened the 7 position because Moses is way better than Sanders. You have weakened the 6 position because Brown is a better 6 than Moses. Defensively we are much worse off in the 6 and 7 with Sanders and Moses. You may have improved the centre position but centres receive less ball than any other position in the back line so it's a waste of Dylan Browns talent.
Its a terrible idea.
When Moses first came to Parramatta, i was a flag barrer for the Moses to 6 clan. I thought he was not a Halfback and was better suited to Five-Eighth. Even when Brown came in i thought swap them.
But Moses has transformed his game completely from being a running, eyes up player at Wests to a game manager at Parramatta. He did say in 2017 when he signed that he went to Parramatta to improve his game. Obviously it was the chance to play Halfback and not be second fiddle to Brooks. Then there was the back and forth with Norman, leading to an awful 2018. Norman left and then we saw Moses grow and grow into a top 5 Halfback in the NRL and the best we have since Sterling.
Now, even if it was a possibility, it is too late. Plus moving everything just to accommodate Sanders? An 18 year old who has proven nothing, not even appeared in NSW Cup? Where do you have Brown? Had we lost Brown this year then Sanders would be penciled in at 6 for Round 1 as we need him, we do not need Sanders other than being a back-up and with his potential and the opinion of other clubs he wont want to be that for too long.
Added Brown being paid around $850-900k to be a Centre?
I know where you are coming from Anthony, I sort suggested something like that in a post, BUT
Its too early, we don't know if Sanders is even up to FG yet, that said and assume he is, its is important in the physcie of Moses to wear the 7 as the NSW Origin half and DB the 6 as the incumbent Test 5/8 for NZ. How they develop as a combo can influence the jersey's they wear sometime in the future, where "noses" won't be out of joint. I would not want to upset the two blokes that individually will have the greatest effect on our season. For long periods lets say "out of control" we had both Brown and Moses out last year, it arguably (unquestionably ) in my mind cost us getting into the 8.
If this team is going to have any effect this year, they have to play more as a team committed to a total combination, not individuals firing, such a move using subtlety could be a good way of changing our strategies without upsetting the cart and maybe productively using a very promising young player.
My proposal would be a built in back up.
My suggestion is that to play Sanders as a utility (if he shows he is up to it) and bring him on and subtlety change some tactics that allows more room for the two halves. Sanders being a bigger body than both of them would not be a problem as an interchange to hooker, it gives you a runner where we dont have one (hooker) and an effective dummy half, it would involve bring in one of the edges to play tighter defensively, essentially Matto plays like a middle anyway. when you look at the leading hookers they all play like halves. Playing Sanders this way allows the two strike halves to get wider and leave room for a different type of player to start the plays from the ruck.
Don't get carried away from this, I suggest it as an exercise to blood Sanders and make a decision to fight harder for his retention rather than shooting off to the Raiders. Maybe 20 minutes at a time, assuming he would not be called on for a genuine backline replacement, which would only be a bonus.
Sanders isnt even a proven reserve grader yet.
Remember when Bevan French was a revelation in lower grades and had massive hype, he was going to be the best thing since sliced bread?
Sanders could be the next Sterlo, he also could be the next French...in fact he's far more likely to be the latter.
Why weaken our current team to accommodate someone with potential? If Sanders wants to chase the dollars in Canberra, good luck to the kid - I'd much prefer another team to take the risk of throwing him into first grade before he's ready.
I think there is a balance in the process Cappy, Bevan French was a genuine talent and his failure was not being rushed as much as his stature of being rag dolled.
Personally I cannot give an opinion on Sander's but people I respect tell me his is an outstanding talent. What I have written says exactly what you saying i.e. assuming he is up to it.....this preseason will tell the coaches whether he can handle it. We could use Bevan French and Reed Mahoney coming into first grade at similar ages and status as alternate examples of the lessor one of Bevan French......Tepai Moreoa also came into this category.
We also need to understand that whilst we identify as a development club we are going to produce some outstanding juniors, we also need to respect that we don't throw them out with the bathwater......that's why I use the word "balance".
I think you may have enjoyed a little too much Christmas cheer ;)
Moses is a back up 7 for NSW. Brown is the NZ 6. I think that's an awesome combo and should be left alone.
Ummmm...... NO
Yes that would be a great idea.
