there is so much respect for ryles already on so many levels - as a person , assistant coach and player
To me the players sound like -
they feel challenged
they feel energised
and they feel " safe" - they believe in the person entrusted to lead them
I totally believe this was missing w BA for the last years .... I think many players doubted his ability and game plan

The energy of the club has lifted, Ryles will become a great eels coach I have no doubt - players will be coming to our great club the days of chasing players are over. Lomax comment about Ryles having " heat between the ears " was telling, we finally have a smart operator not shifty! The squad will be become accountable and good results will follow.
