Looking at the time between now and Rd 2. Basically gives Moses 2 weeks to ramp up for the tigers game. I'm not a coach but eels very long odds to bother Storm anyway so why push him rd 1 ? Sounds like they want him to get some more reps in cause his pre season was halted.

We may as well rest him against Penref, Cronulla, Brisbane and half of the rest of the comp because we aren't likely to beat them.
Sounds like he didn't have much of a preseason, it is shit but rather get him extra rest in a game we had 0 chance winning really. Extra 2 weeks basically to get ready for tigers at home
He was playing Internationals just fine. He also said he was training the house down towards the end of last season in anticipation of being selected for Australia and was chatting with Mal regularly to get advice and drills. It sounded like he was keeping himself super fit for Mal.
Pre season should've been a breeze for Moses to be fair.

Poor rehabilitation due to playing too early on it. Are we to believe that it wasn't giving him any grief before the Internationals ? And if it was then it's fair to query why he played.
A team shouldn't have the attitude of not beating any team because 1 player is missing as they've beaten themselves before they even begin
