Parramatta playmaker Mitchell Moses has ended the saga over his future after agreeing to a lucrative extension that will likely see him finish his career in blue and gold.

News Corp understands that Moses informed Parramatta late on Thursday that he would be staying, having agreed terms only hours before he was due to lead his side into battle in the grand final rematch against Penrith at Commbank Stadium.

  • Great, let's move on, crap all over the Riff tonight

  • Well that was timely 🤔

    Great news

  • Deal will keep him at Parradise until at least the end of 2028

    • Which means we gave him the 5th year

      • I may be wrong Brett.  But isn't his current contract with the option to 2024? To the end of 2028 would be 4 yrs? As I said I might be totally off the mark!

        • Not if he doesn't exercise the option, then we must have given him a 5th year, which itself maybe an option year.
If however he has exercised his option, then yes it would be a 4 year extension.

          • Yeah, can't see him taking up an option for a year at 950k when he can get a 5 grand per week pay rise.  Or if we break his salary down per game played, he's  now earning somewhere considerably over 40 grand per game. Let's hope he starts to earn it.

The Mitchell Moses contract saga is reportedly over, with the gun playmaker agreeing to sign a mammoth deal to remain at the Eels.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the final terms were agreed on Thursday afternoon which led the 28-year-old to make a commitment to the blue and gold.

Moses is now set to sign a bumper five-year deal worth upwards of $1.2 million per-season, despite the Eels losing their first three games of the season.

      • Lets hold tight for the details, it might be like BAs extension, performance-based. Make the finals, Make the GF, Win a GF, something like that and you get the 5th year option.

        Lets just hold tight.

Readie says details coming soon in the article.

          • Gavin and Chris Orr had drafted an eight-year plan, which would run through until 2031, with options in Brown’s favour for 2026 and 2028.
