Chiefy, your argument against Moses is that playing representative football increases his chance of injury and he owes it to the Eels to maximize his value to the Eels.
It is thus a fundamental premise of your argument that Moses getting selected for Australia is a PROBLEM.
Thus, the irrationality of the distinction keep vs ditch because plays for AUS is entirely germane because your argument against Moses hinges on a premise central to that distinction.
I'd say think it through but the very absurdity of the position itself (sack Moses because he got selected for AUS) precludes in my opinion the idea that the adherent of that view is able to think it through.
Moses should do what he wants to do not what a bunch of fans want him to do. Players have aspirations to play rep footy, most are highly competitive by nature and want to be a part of the best v the best.
I don't think he will get chosen for nsw or Australia again unless there are injuries. Cleary will be first chosen if available and both walker and dearden are younger and playing better and will move ahead of moses during this tournament.
