Moses gone Calf.

Put him in cotton wool until Vegas ffs

How much can an Eels fan take

He should hang the boots up on all rep football.

Calf again,  similar soft tissue injuries only allowing him to play less than half a season.  Moses needs to make the call and support the club which pays him 1.5 mil. Thats it. Ive had it

      • Carlo, you're assuming that striving for rep honours is NOT part of the same motivation set that leads to a guy like Moses having the best kicking game in the NRL, or leads to Moses being the guy who arrived a defensive turnstile and is now rock solid in defense. Etc etc etc.

enforcing withdrawal from rep honours is the kind of dopey minded "retention and recruitment" expert stuff Chiefy has been depositing onto 1EE all year. Yawn. You don't foster a culture of high performance by demanding players aim low.

    • Wiz, divide those stats into the games played and then look at the support staff that the best results provided.

Daz makes a comment and you go for the lack of precision but you dont identify the same lack of precision in your commentary.

PS I am the first to accept that Moses did not have a great year, but he does have some excuses with the quality of a backline that was almost impossibe to set up. Add to that the one class try scorer we did have carried a serious rib injury for the whole season.

      • Poppa, when you do the stats by averages Moses makes the Top 20 try assists per game average.

No idea why anyone would just give a scatter gun list of people!

The half backs main job in the NRL? Responsible for field kicking. Moses? Ranked 1 average kick meters. Also, get the attack going. Moses? Top 20 line break assists (average).

I just think one has to be the saddest of sad sacks to think it's Moses that is the problem at the Eels or that you create a high performance environment by demanding your player not make representative teams or withdraw from them. Stooooooopid

    • Gee, an attack ranked 12/17 has a half back with less try assists than some halves from Top 4 teams and similar or more try assists than some halves from similar also-ran teams. And Moses missed 8 games.

Like, is this kind of flimsy 'throw random numbers at a wall' supposed to make a point?
