NRL head of football Graham Annesley has conceded the Bulldogs were denied a possible try to Marcelo Montoya in the first half of the side's two-point loss to the Eels on Sunday.
Montoya was in a position to finish off a set move on the left edge but on-field referee Chris Sutton penalised Raymond Faitala-Mariner for impeding Mitchell Moses in the lead-up.

Correct call. Should of been a try. But this doesnt mean dogs were robbed from winning. Happened so early in the game to say this would of changed the result.
Should of challenged it. It was an obvious try
To be fair to the ref, he made a call on the fly with what he saw. It's a shame there are not more calls like it each week. And even though Moses did his best acting job, Faitala-Mariner did stop right in the line, which is a no-no.
May be it it was given as a try, there would've been plenty of time for the boys to wake up to themselves, not getting sucked into a flase sense of security and played the full 80 minutes.
BTW, it's should've not should of
Im sick of hearing this they always do it after game lost . I believe it tarnishes the win by parra .
Who's to say Mitch wouldn't have raced out and intercepted the pass and run away to score?
Their first try was disallowed too. I said last week if you win a GF for example by milking a couple of penalties it will be noted forever. Same as this. Without being one eyed referse the play you lot would be blowing up big time.
The dogs could have used captain's challenge but opted not to. Bad luck and sucked in.
Annessley can go suck a fart. I've lost count of the number of times Parra's been f*cked by the refs. Melbourne semi in 2017 stands out.
How about the illegal blockers for the Broncos field goal last year in Brisbane?
Its all fish and chip paper today...swings and roundabouts.
Surprisingly they cleared sivos deliberate forward pass over the side line to end the game. Supposably the dogs blew up wanting a penalty kick to tie the game
