Moderation Note: Forum Standards

We understand the frustration many are feeling, and the overwhelming, relentless sentiment surrounding the club at the moment.

However, we are not going to tolerate abuse or harassment directed at others simply because they may hold a different opinion. This also extends to individuals within the club itself and players.

We all expect standards from our club and players. We also expect standards on this forum.

For clarity's sake, the majority of posters have not crossed the line.

Moving forward, we will begin shutting down blogs, archiving threads, or removing content where necessary, and expect people to de-escalate in order to avoid further moderation action.

  • Understood HOE.  However the inconsistency of this moderation is what errks me...Some on here have loud voices and opinons but rarely get challeged or shut down anyway I said my peace and after my tirades last week I will temper my responses.

    • PG, three questions.

      1. So for "consistency" & fairness you want moderation to "shut down" anyone who doesn't fully support the relentless shots at players & our club?
      2. What do you mean by "shut down"?
      3. How has one side has been "shut down" unfairly? Please explain or clarify. Give examples. You could just about count on one hand the blogs or comments that have been closed or removed in recent times. And no-one has been suspended since the beginning of the year. Admittedly, we may need to moderate more if things get out of hand. Hopefully, not.

PS: I don't know what this "tirade" you went on last week, lol. It wasn't very loud or persistent. Was it shut down?

  • Nahhhh lets continue using Charlie Guymer as a punching bag

    • Penisini back soon

      • Waqa Blake?

        • Don't punch Matto though....might kill him

  • Laurie Daley must be playing 3D chess in saying he picked Tedesco over Edwards because of "the game we want to play". There is not that much difference? On the Dally M leaderboard after 11 Rounds Edwards has 32 points and Tedesco 27 points, though Panthers have played 11 games vs Chooks 10 games. Maybe Tedesco is there because Edwards does well in the highly structured Panther system but SOO attack needs more x-factor?
