  • I'll be gutted if we don't sign Semi... but 800k is a lot for a winger.

    • The thing about Semi is he comes in field and makes bigger hits and hit ups than front rowers, he is worth every dollar

      • Agree. Gone are the days that a winger is the drummer of the team.

Their workload is higher than some forwards at times plus they have to add the finishing touches to backline raids.

        Worth every dollar, indeed.

  • Honestly by the time Semi signs a contract with someone If in fact he does come back, He will be linked to every single side in the NRL. His manager will shop him around (as they do) & I think we will get a last offer. IF we can come near it or match it then I think he will come back to us. The ball essentually will be in our court in my opinion! It’s a long way off yet either way!

  • I would love Semi back, but only if it means Jennings plays for Wenty and Ferguson plays centre. Jennings has lost his zip and his attacking play is now average.

However, I would hate to lose Sivo, who might be even better than Semi with time. And we couldn't punt Ferguson after the contribution he has had to this side.

The other option might be to play Semi at centre. However,  I think he is much better suited to the wing and should stay there.

  • Semi to the highest bidder. You heard it here first.

    • That’s what Poppa tells all his nurses

    • That was always going to be the case.

    • If that's the case, there is no need to leave union.

Semi needs to realise he developed a cult following being at PARRA. He will lose a lot of that by going anywhere else. He has a chance to cement a legacy by lifting PARRA to become a premiership contender for years to come and possibly win 1 or more.

The ball is in his court but he needs to be careful what his next move is

  • It’s like buying the best forward getting semi.

    he is worth 800k

no one comes close to semi he has it all.

    buy, buy, buy
