Mitchell Moses named in Emerging Blues Squad.

  • I still believe in Moses. Apparently he’s been bulking up so I’m keen to see him play the most
    • Filter is buttering him up for the Roosters gig in 2020. They need a replacement for Cronk
  • Didn’t take Fittler long . I see lodge is included

winning is everything . Confirms was all rhetoric what he said when hit appointed

  • Well done to Moses. Hopefully we see the 'potential' he has displayed for a long time realised and he has a strong and consistent 2019 for the eels.

I think that Zac Lomax from the dragons is a great looking prospect too. Would like to see him in the blue & gold.

  • There are some absolute plodders in that squad, hardly any of them will get near Origin.

  • Moses would be the elder statesman of that group.
  • Mitchell Pierce was named but not in squad after a successful seaso. L
Luke Brooks improved so much this year and if he keeps going under the new coach will be a bolter. Some on that list won't see day light.
  • Just think about it...2 years ago the Dragons was a club in complete disarray banning their fans from their social media platforms for telling them how rubbish they were...Now they have 4-5 origin players + and another 5 in the emerging blues squad. Then look at us. Depressing....

    • Compare their signings to ours over the last 3 years, makes for miserable reading.

And they did it without TPA's.... apparently

    • I'm with you there it's a little depressing additionally I think we  had 1 or two in the junior kiwis and junior kangaroos and obviously none in the senior sides. So not a lot of rep players then you look at the roosters and pretty much everyone of their 17 have some rep experience. then you see these players with rep experience like Marty taupua , klemmer & Napa being shopped around and we end up with Paulo who was talked about potentially playing origin but went pretty much backwards in form so never got close. At least he will have company in our squad

"Via Parra he has, that's for sure....I'm not sure if other clubs have an issue outside the RC360 level.
This has become a much more personal style of issue for Parra. It come's about purely that he broke his contract and I'm not sure anyone outside…"

Hell On Eels replied to Blue Eel's discussion Real Reason Parramatta Coach cut Zac Lomax Loose
"Pops, We are better with Lomax the Lion if his heart were fully on the bus, rather than being a cat on a hot tin roof. If he comes back to NRL, some clubs may take a punt on him and who knows if we would, but he's done some damage to his NRL brand."

"Love the input HOE and very well said. Pops your spot on with a lot of what your suggesting, and Coryn nails it as well.
I was oblivious to Lomax beating to his own drum, oblivious to the suggestion he wasn't a team first guy.
There are points made…"
