According to Dr. Google 😂 Mitchell Moses has played the following amount of Club Games for Parra. Quote:
"Â Mitchell Moses has missed a total of 41 club games for the Parramatta Eels over the past three years (2023 to June 2026) due to a combination of injuries and State of Origin commitments." That equates to about missing 57% of games over the past 3 years. In comparison Nathan Cleary has missed 26 club games over the past 3 years at a percentage of 36%
In comparison to half backs who have played the most for their respective clubs they are: Adam Reynolds, Chery Evans and Jerome Hughes despite obvious injuries. Reynolds has played 76, Evans 76 and Hughes 75

Yes , it's alarming . I'd hate to know what it works out he's paid per game played . And I think Eels fans have been quite happy to accept that's it's just bad luck , up until now when we have been asked to be cool with him not playing when we most need him. NSW are quite ok for backups without needing a bloke who's apparently nursing a niggle to be on hand just incase.Â
Im not sure I buy the claim it's out of his hands. Ryles didn't seem to be on board with the club doctors analysis .Â
He obviously gets paid when he doesn't play as well I would assume. It is quite alarming. I was curious to know how many games he's missed and was surprised it was actually that many. It's also surprising how many games Reynolds has played as he does frequently seem to get injuries but he still plays most times regardless unless it's serious. I don't think it's out of his hands at all.Â
If you were so curious, Mallee, why did you emphasize a lean trot 2024-2025 and ignore 2017-2023?
I was curious to know about the last 3 years mainly but if want to include them other years that's okÂ
Mallee , I think when you're getting to the wrong end of your careeer , demanding to be paid amongst the top 5% and have accepted to be the captain of the club , it comes with a portion of responsibility . Â As I said both the club and fans have been quite mellow with his Origin and injuries due to origin since he had his late bloom of an Origin career over the past few seasons . It's now becoming a little bit smelly . Â
He obviously can't sustain playing both as his injuries only seem to be the last few seasons since he started appearing regularly with NSW .Â
AgreeÂ
If he comes out of Origin 2 Injured and cannot back up then the club needs to give him an ultimatum, whether that be contract payment adjustments or a commitment to Parramatta only for the duration of his contract.
Mitch has always been individual over team....lets see what Balls the Club has (if any). yes this is very much don't cut off your nose to spite your face idiom.....but we need to start binning off players that do not have the clubs best interests.
Parra G, can you explain how the critique the recruitment and retention experts have mounted - "Eels are not a destination club for stars" - sits alongside "Eels stars should be told to skip Origin"?
You are missing the point ...How has one thing got to do with the other....
Not once have I said we should not be targeting elite rep talent or stop players from Origin.  I am specifically talking about MITCHELL MOSES.  What has the club gotten from his past three years (which I might add) is the only time he has gotten an Origin Jersey Id say bubkiss.  In ANY of his time in Origin has he then played out the season, helped the team get to the semis or won a match for the blue and gold after this ?
He is not 22 anymore and I think the last straw is forgoing the Bulldogs match for Origin 2. If he now reinjures himself....I gather you are OK with that.
Right mate, punish the only player good enough to get selected and forgo an extra $100K in match payments. You have to be kidding yourself. Why would Mitch turn down rep honors? Parra cant make the 8 this year, there is no fkn point in him playing these games, all our games are dead rubber. He played every game this season prior and we are in the same position. You wouldnt turn down an extra $100K a year would you. If you do, you dont know the value of a dollar in todays world.
