  • I don't think mitchell is going to be at the club next year so why put him in. Who is o'hanlon going to replace? Hindy?Smith?Mateo?Horo? We have the second row/lock positions covered. loko should only come in for injuries, he is a good player in the 20's but anybody but Tahu and Burt looks nervous in defence and the rest of the backline is going so well
  • why do that.... the toyota cup side is playing like shit anyway....see the score against the titans 46-0 !! besides this first grade squad is still in the semis hunt ( although its a slim chance that we can make it ) we have to keep the faith with our squad ....remember this is the same team that ran riot through the bulldogs not so long ago... i know that i will be there on friday night giving my full support behind this great team and if anyone is in brissie on friday night the full team will be meeting with fans at ST PAULS TAVERN SPRING HILL at 10.30 after the match....bring it on.....GO PARRA.
  • If we were to lose to the broncos on Friday, thus rendering our chances of making the finals as zilcho, then I agree with you I would be giving some young blokes a game.

As much as I love all three, I would drop KK, Inu and Mateo and insert Humble, O'Hanlon/Te Maari, Sio/Loko. Obviously it isn't anything personal but it is no benefit to us for the next season for those 3 to be playing in the top grade where as giving the youngsters a taste can only benefit their development.

Imo if Ant Mitchell was going to be re-signed then he would of already been given a run in 1st grade this year, it is a shame because I think he is a classy player. I'm actually surprised no one has already snapped him up for next season.

If Grothe recovers in time then he deserves a farewell game if not then it is unfortunate but that just further opens the door for Sio/Loko (that is of course presuming he isn't going to be here next season either).
  • dont think we should take any more players from toyota cup the titans match 46-0 shows we have aready milked it dry.
  • well thats right no inu or mateo for next year so there is no benefit for next year to us, o hanlon n loko can certainly come in for them horo deserves a start o hanlon comes on the bench n tho loko could b still a bit raw might aswell get those nerves outta the way now instead of possibly starting him next year n feeling his way when the games mean something just a thought
  • i think u are jumping ahead.

if we lose next week, then ur blog would be justified.

if we win next week, we have the tigers at home. souths at a homebush without Sutton, and lastly unpredictable warriors that might be under-pressure just as much as us..
  • Mate we havn't used any kids from NYC this season.
