Media reports circulating around the Eels' alleged interest in Paul Vaughan - currenly with Warrington Wolves in the Super League - are completely false.

The Eels do not and never had any interest. Sources within the club have confirmed this.

This is a lesson - for all of us - to be careful not to assume what we read in the media, social media, or listen on podcasts or believe to be potentially true has any substance in reality whatsoever.

  • Glad this confirmed we aren't after Vaughan. Apparently it is a smoke screen from within the Club to cover that fact that our true target is Daniel Alvaro. Don't tell anyone!

    • No EE, mail is wrong. It is Gareth Hock finally.

"Not always the penalty counts! It depends where exactly the penalty was given, the amount of set restarts and what tackle it's given on, where on the field. Like I said Penrith are experts at it and are able to manipulate the referees exactly when…"
