I think you hit the nail on the head with regard to officials and the game being managed. Its not surprising that Klein gets to do these games, he is obviously very manageable!
How that influence is managed we will probably never know, but it can be done very subtley by saying the gate in match 3 and the ratings to go with it is worth $20m and untold future value in future TV rights. Yeh! I get it, don't like it but makes a lot of sense.
Noteing, that the players are not involved that way.....there intensity was very genuine.
8 -0 Penalty count is bad enough but in the rain ? The NRL know what they are doing.

No different to last year when Qld lead the series one nil, second game didn't NSW lead something like 32-0 at half time after receiving all the penalties. The problem is too many idiots in the NSW side, Luau being the main, has given away 4 penalties.

Origin is past it's used by date. The game in Perth is more boring than game 1 at Suncorp. Luai and Cleary are terrible. The referee is a disgrace. It's a total farce. Can't let Billy Sluter lose a series 3-0 🤣. What a 🤣 joke
