What's going on with our mate Ryan, watched ryles pressor just now and it appears matto not back anytime soon with his Injury....is he on the outer at the club and the 'injury' is a nice way to say his time at the club is done? The coach was pretty blunt in response, or am I reading too much into it?

This question should be directed to those on TCT, they seem to know a lot about nothing. Blue and Gold glasses.
It was injuries plural too. Ryles wants to be competitive from next year but needs to offload players. He is clearly trying to force him out. Joe O won't be resigned either. Ryles will be a looking for a starting prop for next year to pair with Williams. Paulo back to the bench. He will be also chasing edge forwards
EA what's the pathways looking like with potential replacements they need another senior in that foward pack I reckon someone who can lead these young cats.Maybe a Kurt Capewell type and old head a real professional.Doesn't need to be a star just needs to be a guy that shows young guys how to be a pros pro.
Tuivita and Mataele (middles) and Latu (edge) are probably the 3 that have potential to be an NRL player regularly next year. Everyone has already seen Tuivita and he has been impressive in his short stints. But unfortunately when he gets a go, the game is already over.
I said on a previous post, I would be chasing Talaki from the sharks. Just put some pressure to see if anything can happens since he is signed there so would need a release. He is too good to be playing 25min off the bench. He would walk straight into an edge spot for us. For next year this is what I would only have so far
8. Williams
9. Smith
10.
11.
12. Samrani (I think we need to develop him there)
13. Hopgood
14. Papalii
15. Moretti
16. Paulo
17. Guymer (hopefilly he develops well this year)
18. Tuivita (chance to be a mainstay in the first choice line up. But for now, he is Paulo replacement in 2027. But do not rule it out for him to start in 2026 I recon. Would complement Williams and Hopgood well. All depends on his development)
19. Mataele
20. Doorey
21. Latu
22. Kautoga
Hopefully one of the last 2 have a massive year and gets an edge spot next year
Joe O and Carty off contact and won't be resigned. Try push Lane and Matto out of the club.
Well we have a war chest. Brown, Lane, Matto, Lussick, Ofahengaue adds up to nearly $3mil.
Brown $900k-$1mil
Lane $450k
Matto $650k
Ofahengaue $500k
Lussick $300k
Cartwright $400-500k
Ryles and MON if smart can do some damage. Throw some money at players who are signed for 2026 and get them early. It happens a lot talking to already contracted players.
Samarani has backrower written all over him and Talakai would be a nice pickup.
Thats why I asked about who we have coming as the market isn't saving us our pathways may well.Strategic signings are what we need.Hooker is also a must Hands Lussick are backups and it's to early to say what Smith is as yet.
Talakai defensively is not that great. Not sure he would be a great 80min backrower. That is what we need and how you get him out of Cronulla.
If you want to go for a really good choice. Junior Nsemba for Wigan warriors. Young and atheltic backrower. Lot of potential. Signed long term but I think he has an NRL clause.
Didn't Matterson play NSW cup last weekend? If so, did anyone see if he was injured in the game?
He played 65 minutes.
