Anybody see Greenburg interviewed about this today, i reckon hes either got Bells Palsy or he's had a stroke, hes lost control of the left side of his face, he doesnt look well.
Snake I noticed this too about TG; his left side did look sunken a bit; as for Lodge it’s a disgraceful incident and this footage is v compelling. I am not going to blame him, Yes i do for the incident and he needs to sort something with the family but the NRL have had a lot to answer for. There are too many inconsistencies and this is a huge one. If he was sorry he would look at paying some compo etc and Wayne Bennett is one of the bigger hypocrites imo.
I heard the criminal charges were downgraded because there was a private settlement reached between the lodge and victim which he seems to be now avoiding.
Is this true or more rumours.
The difference with packer and lodge is packer was open book and didn't hide from media. He has gone public with his remorse and privately does lot to repay community that not aired by media but they are aware of.
Saints organised open media session packer answered all questions with nothing off limits. He also didn't hide behind pre scripted answers. He outlined why he acted as he did and steps he had taken to change his ways. He turned those who said he should never play again into believers that he reformed and continues impress everyone with his charity and off field work with troubled youths. That shows true rehabilitation and change from who he was when committed offence.
In lodes case he has hidden from media with Broncos and nrl assistance. He hasn't owned his mistake and has only complete 1 season in qld cup. Has not shown any real remorse or explained his situation.
In my opinion packer case was a lot worse and more violent. The difference is how he handled it afterwards. Lodge avoided jail so I think more time in state cup should be done to complete his rehabilitation and serve some time for his crime. Packer had time in jail to reflect on his crime and life where lodge simply joined qld cup and was treated as hero with bright nrl future even before he laced up a boot for Redcliffe.
Totally agree. I was all for Lodge getting a second chance but after seeing the footage he should not be playing. Remind me what Packer did? Carney should feel dirty if he can’t get a gig.
Stomped on a blokes head after he had already smashed him. I posted at the time Lodge was a dog and should not be allowed back, but the do gooders on here told us all that he was sorry and had paid his compensation to the family. Guess what dopes, he has not. For the record, the bloke was that pissed in the video, I cannot believe he did not get knocked the hell out as he should have been.

If I am a do gooder, then you got me wrong EE. This guy should of never be let into NRL. I am glad they have released some of the video. The family had to move out of there apartment as the kid is traumatised and every time he hears a door bell, the poor kid loses it.

Packer did do time in jail, Lodge had spent FA time behind bars and not paid a cent back or showed any remorse. Unless a interview with that bald prick Greenturd means anything.
