After the terrible display by Norman, Matterson could get the nod,as yester he played a full game of 20's then backed up and played most of premier league. I don't think the coaching staff would do unless they were testing him out, testing his toughness to slot him into the top grade. Now im not saying drop Norman for the year but put him on notice by dropping him against Souths then if he doesn't perform against Gold Coast and Matterson performs against Souths, we have a new 6. If they both get into form, use matterson at lock and get rid of sef. Simple as that

Matterson has all the talent in the world but in terms of being first-grade ready, he isn't there yet.
He needs consistency and high-tempo play in the NSW Cup before he's ready for FG.
yep read the same.
IMO not a chance Liam. If BA can persevere with Joe Paulo for so long I doubt if he will demote Norman to Wenty because of his woeful game against the Warriors.
yeah you're right there Michael, unfortunately
I agree with Michael P, if he keeps playing a third grade player like Sefa he will not drop Norman because of 1 bad game. Sefa has had at least 4 years at parra under at least 3 coaches and still gets picked, not bad since he only played 3 or 4 fair games in that time. He needs to make a couple of changes to put them on notice and may find better options like Moeroa.
'1 bad game'.....LOL
