Welll that was quickly put to bed. Be interested to see which forwards JR keeps and which ones he lets go to accomodate the juniors coming through the grades.

Haven't seen enough of him since he came over from qld and yet to play for eels themselves. The Aussie schoolboy game isn't enough to give a proper opinion. But for now I think he is below Popo and Talagi, especially if you looking at 2027
Looks like the conveyor belt is starting to produce the goods. Hopefully that get's better and better over time. That means we'll be constanly losing players, but adding new faces should help to reinvigorate the team each year. The aim should be to have a better squad that the previous year.
He has good leg speed and can hit a hole. Easily his best two attributes. Defensively he looks gassed quickly. Hope we didn't pay much because losing him wouldn't have hurt us
"They used to call it contact football years ago Coryn. Came back in for a while in the late 70's. I'm surprised it is not used as much now although Parra's champion backline used it as a version in the 80's. Just wasn't always big forwards, just…"
"Hi Tragic, I thought of the O'Reilly comparison as well PT.....and yes I was referring to the short drop outs.

Uncontracted list for 2026:
Now Doorey & W Penisini should be officially announced soon?
I would let Volkman, Mataele, Matto and Tuilagi walk. Coinakis, Popo, Talagi, Petrus to replace them in 2027.
Latu & Jez already top 30 in 2027 and Renzo 2028.
Matt Doorey's resigned for two more years...I welcome that news
What about Koina EA?

I've never been a fan of Doorey I think he's a very limited player doesn't really offer a lot imo but the coach thinks different so be it.
