So Matt Burton will reject higher offers from other clubs to stay loyal to Dogs on $750K for 4 seasons. Whereas our halves chases the highest offer. Where has this club gone wrong in getting players to want to play for the blue and gold?

Yeah i agree, Burton is a test and Origin player, he could have gotten 900k-1mil easily.
Of course he could, but of course the sphincter of the competition is such a great draw card this blokes willing to sign for considerably less and nobody will query it. However us of at top of the table have a guy who's achieved less , is totally underwhelming at the WC , yet the media and those with agendas keep drumming up how we can't afford to keep him.
Burton is a centre and makeshift 5/8 at times he looks very ordinary, 750 is overs

Agree BEM, Burton can hit a whole and run good lines but at he looks lost when managing a team around the park - Moses had that issue as well more recently has a good balance of the two
