Throw in Pezet as a bridge for Lorenzo who needs a year to stand the physical nature of 1st grade we a real threat . We are using Pezet as much he is using us

Veterans and average players on 1 year deals are good not up and coming young halves that you are essentially developing for another team. There is a massive difference.
I honestly would have been happy with a Clifford type half as a stop gap to 😂 Pezet is a strange situation but I think this does make us the best version we can field for 2026. Weird but let's run with it

A stable spine leads a stable team. Shuffling other players matters less, but keeping a consistent 1, 6, 7 & 9 has a pretty good correlation with success.
Lorenzo is a prospect, a potential. He may very well not work in first grade. And by the time he's ready Moses could be ready to go.
We have known Dylan has been leaving since March. 8 months now. And it seems we're no closer to closing that gaping hole...that's the disappointing part.
The only way this could possibly work is that they have signed Burton or Campbell or eqivalents for 2027.
If not the disruption to the playing personel and the overall morale just went out the door.....everyone is now playing for themselves and fuck the team!
If there is Karma out there Pezet may as well do another ACL and even then you cannot start again because the damage on a morale level would be just as busted as Pezet's ACL.
