Marmin Barba

I happen to come across watching the state championship grandfinal and it was a great game to watch. The name that really stood out to me was the man Marmin Barba, with his blistering pace getting through everyone that was in his face. Not only that he has been in superb form all year round in the Queensland cup showing the qualities that he can produce in the nrl.I'm not too sure what he current situation is with contracts etc. but I think if he's off contract he would be very worthy to have in our side for next year and he would be a very good cheap buy and put him at centre for our squad. What is your opinion?

  • His defence isn't even good enough for halfback and you want him to play centre?
  • No he's a winger would add punch in attack but liability in defense
  • Hes same as his brother, too cool for school, got an attitude, not a fan.

    • Wasn't he signed to the Bulldogs and they dropped him because of attitude/ poor form?

    • He was an eel already. And we let him go. He is tiny.
    • Yeah he played fullback in our NYC team in 2011. He absolutely carved up but was too small for first grade.
  • Besides one good run where he scored that try he was rubbish... Pass
  • We signed Marmin from the Dogs after a significant health problem that he had. He played very well in our NYC team and looked great in attack. He appears to be a bit bigger than he was with us but he's one of those players that goes well when the team dominates but faces a real challenge outside of that. picture a slightly less talented Bevan French and you have Marmin.
  • we had him once and let him go

  • There's a reason he's playing NSW cup / QLD Cup whatever.
