  • Mann is no loss, but a liability to Knights.

He cost St Drag in the finals, big time.

Normie to Drags - see what happens, nonplussed tbh.

    • Brissy Eel, never said that Norman was certain to go, with Dragons freeing up cap space its a possibility, hence the question mark at end of the header

      • Mann is not on $900k, Widdop would have to go to free up space for Norman

        • True HkF, now while I'm no mathematician, I do believe that the reported $500,000 they were going to pay Hayne, + say the $200,000 Mann ,may have been on adds up to a sizeable chunk of $900,000?

          • Dragons signing Hayne was relying on Mann going to Knights so his salary was going towards the $500k for hayne.

    • by rumour machine parra wants both norman and moses gone and they may not be at the eels this season coming,

near certain  parra wont sign them again.

so both need a club sooner then later, both need clubs for 2020.

the review must have come down hard on both, which we fans will never see.

reports are parras had a gut full of uncle benny and moses manager.

gone public  is parras players  have been  run through word by word of the review, all have to agree there season

was shocking, a waste of a season, look at the eels website,

now  there no 5 year plan , we need success right and need to finish top 8 or top 4, there is no other way to go..

  • Norman can go to dragons in 2020 might decide to pull his finger out for us next year knowing he needs to play for a contract
  • Would rather keep Norman. Play him Fullback, Moses No.6 and Dylan Brown 7

    • Spot on Kerry!

    • That's how I had my round 1 team too.

The only way Saints would take Norman this season would be if Eels were still going to pay a big chunk of his salary. So better to hang onto him for his last year & play him at fullback.

Saints are also after an outside back so maybe offering Mennings would be better. Given the amount of tries he let in last season I'd be happy to pay a chunk of his salary & get rid of him.
