Congradulations to Makahesi Makatoa on making his NRL debut on the weekend, i have mentioned prior i met him years back when him and my brother played together at kingsgrove colts Ron Massey Cup team. End of year party at mine and was minding my own business he made the effort to say hello and talk footy with me which showed the person he was, genuine and humble. It is stories like this that make the NRL the greatest game on earth

If you believed some on here they reckoned his too old for a top 30 contract after I had said he should have a crack of first grade after that trial vs St George. I should go in search of that blog and name the clowns 🤡

Well Deserved I love when a player goes the long way to a debut usually these guys play with a sense of appreciation as opposed to the entitlement of some players.

Well Davey had an excellent debut year, Maka being better is a great shot in the arm
He did have signs of laziness, had a season in second division England in 2019 and came back 2020 with experience and focus
Was a workhorse in NSW cup this year
