    • Exactly what we should have done.

      • They've, ahh, had their review already.

I think there's pros and cons of both approaches. Barrett's is weird, he's likely not even coaching there next season so to cancel mad Monday is not going to affect him.

I don't care if our guys have gone on a Mad Monday. They've had a long season. It started in November last year and if it means they can have some time to blow off steam and chill out I don't really care. They'll probably have September and part of October off before heading into pre-season again.

Professional sport is incredibly taxing both physically and mentally so I don't see the point in further punishing players after a poor season. There's pages of academic research proving that negative feedback and punishment doesn't produce positive results in the long run.

  • BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

''One of the revellers even reached out and touched the private parts of adam elliot'' bwahahahahaga

  • Top Flog is the person who sold them the e coli infested kebabs.
  • the media is evil

  • the daily telegraph has officially stooped to an all time low. Front page, seriously? There is nothing more important they could be reporting on that's worth making the front page of the paper??

  • This is just the Telegraph looking for a story where there is none. They could go to the Cross on a Saturday night and see 10 times that crap. So they got one bloke starkers, one bloke asleep and one bloke having a chunder next to a dumpster, who cares? They haven't hurt anyone, no one's been arrested. If the NRL punish them for this it's absolute BS.

      • I honestly don't care. It's end of the season. Worse than that happens every Friday and Saturday night.

The Tele will go and complain about not getting enough access to players then publish this crap? It's not in the public interest, it's not newsworthy, it has no news value. It should not have been printed.

Different kettle of fish if the players had broken the law and been arrested.

If you want to talk about the bar breaking RSA laws, that's fine, but again, not the players' issue. I can't get fined if a bar serves me while I'm intoxicated. I can only get fined if I either, argue with security/RSA marshal about being served and refuse to leave the premises if I am asked.

  • LOL - and yes I actually did Laugh out loud reading this.

So much for the RESPONSIBLE service of alcohol laws.

Venue should be hit with massive fines and shut down.
