According to recent reports Joey Lussick won't be returning to the Eels anytime soon as the St. Helen's coach has responded that he's aware of the Eels interest in securing the services of Joey Lussick but he's contracted with St. Helen's until the end of 2024 so he won't be going anywhere

Money talks with English clubs. If the club really wants him, and he wants to come back, it'll get done.
Sticking point....eels aren't willing to pay any transfer fee.
It's not like we can't afford a transfer fee and it doesn't count towards the salary cap.
But also, is it worth the fee if he will only be with us for max 10 games? If he was signed til 2024 then maybe as he would be the starter from as soon as he is here.
I would've thought if they are going to do it they would do it for the rest of this year and next year.
Maybe Matto has some spare change
Like I said, if the club wants to make it happen, they'll pay.
Always a pipedream really. It's a big thing to ask someone to move from another country. Besides, Hodgson will be back next year like it or not. I honestly think Asi will be the 14 when Brown is back and if Hands gets injured Brown will most likely go to 9 and Asi to 6.
Brown to 9 and ASI to 6?
You might have that back to front. I can't see Brown (one of the best 6's in the comp) going to 9 but stranger things have happened.
Agreed
