Past performance of our talent committee doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Smith will sign with the Cows and 3 days later there will be a statement of how we 'put a strong offer forward, offered overs etc etc'

I mean for cheap and as a short term turnaround it kinda makes sense.A left sided left foot kicker.
But for me I've always thought of Brooks as damaged goods and his best days or potential are well behind him.
He has to be plan B they seriously can't be thinking Brooks is our 3-5 yr answer at 6.
I'd rather Brooke Shields play 6 or 9 for us
