Hmmm makes sense on why Gus made out he was chasing Moses, spending a bit more money on the halves less chance to poach his players?

I have seen before. I cannot remember where but a player got an early release and talk was him going to a certain club, then last minute he signed with another. Though only thing about Schoupp is he is a Bulldogs junior and adores the club, he must've been told there is no future for him as they are going for Crichton so he took best opportunity. But i doubt he would want to play for a Bulldogs rival like Parramatta being such a Canterbury fan and junior. Only tinfoil hat consipiracy.

It is unlikely, but i would be scouting Herbie Farnworth as soon as he is back in Australia, Tesi Niu is heading to Dolphins so frees up less competition but you have Walsh, Cobbo, Staggs, Oates, Mariner, Hoeter and Arthars. Farnworth of course is ahead of most of them but if he wants Fullback in future he needs to leave. We can offer it for 2026 when Gutho's deal runs out.

It's a shame we lost this kid....he had the making of being Slugg's favourite player.....we would probably have had a blog every week on how good "schoupp" is...... looks like you may have to head to Titans for a good Schoupp Sluggo!
