He had direction from the NRL. If NSW won that, interest wanes for the next game. Now the next game is all or nothing. Don't forget, this is a business, and the main goal of any business is to increase revenue, not give the consumers what they necessarily want.
Well NRL usually struggle to sell out Sydney Origin, a decider gives them the chance.
Makes me think if they actually struggle to sell out Accor Stadium, even though it is a drop of about 35,000 why not take Origin to Allianz Stadium? Yes drainage is atrocious but the stadium is big enough and good enough for an event like Origin.
I remember my mate took his wife and three kids last year. Cost him $450 for tickets. Beer was $11 not to mention food was a rippoff. I think he said he spent $200on drinks and food. So with the tickets $650. And took ages to get a train home.
The nrl can't get it through their thick heads as to why people don't go it's to expensive. Your better off cooking a bbq buying a decent case of beer, snacks for the kids and watching it in the warmth of your own home. And you don't have to line up to use the toilet either and don't have to use a filthy toilet that's been pissed over lol.
Not sure about that. Allianz only holds about 45,000. Accor holds about 80,000. Even if not fully sold out, that's still a much bigger crowd at Homebush. Apparently the average crowd at Homebush is around 74,000.
If you see my post i did say it is smaller, i know both stadiums capacity. Suncorp is 50,000. I understand you have a bigger stadium use it, but there have been times where only 60,000 seats sold by Monday then they make them cheaper and get an extra 10-15,000.
Plus until Accor is redone, Allianz will be better for atmosphere too, like Suncorp closer to the action. I love Accor stadium, i think it gets a bad go at times, but Allianz makes sense too.
GF's stay at Accor in Sydney, that i will stand by as GF's always sell out or get close to it.
"Cleary was obviously injured. Probably something that happened too late in the week to bring in the redcliff halfback, who should be 18th man next game in case this happens again (both moses and cleary injured)."
"Only if he is 100% and cleary is not (again). Id prefer cleary if both 100%. But a 100% moses is better than a 90-95% cleary, its that close between them. On another note, Luai is the best option at 6 and there is no reason to drop him."
"He can't play. That's getting ridiculous.Having said that, Moses and Luai are the No.1 combo for sure. Moses with his long boot and speed, Luai with his off-the-cuff style. They compliment each other really well. Cleary shat the bed last night…"

If Cleary isn't an SoO player just take the jerseys of the other 12 because they aren't either 😂.
I think your taking the piss.
Lomax free from suspension. Only losing 7% of his match fee.
How does that ref get away consistently from officiating in origin games!
Worst frikin ref ever giving 10 penalties to 0 in favour of QLD!
FRIKIN GRUB!

There is a clique within the referees. Adam Gee is not apart of it. It was reported by journo's not denied by NRL and Annersley has allowed it.
