          • I agree Lomax provides plenty of X factor what he does changes games.

X Factor imo unmasks itself in many ways.

Ill say this if we lose Lomax we are in trouble and they'll have to lean on Moses even more which is what we don't want.

    • Why did the Broncos win a comp with 2 wingers who wouldn't cost over 300k each??? Wingers aren't everything and 700k for Lomax is ridiculous.  The Storm Wingers aren't on that much

      • Agree with this 100%. Lomax is a great winger and has that winner mentality. But at the end of the day he is just a winger. Parra has lost many wingers over the years that we said could not be replaced... Semi, Fergo to name some recents. The money is better spent elsewhere right now and hopefully that winner mentality has rubbed off on afew around him.

        • We never replaced Semi, we just got someone else to play in his spot

      • To'o would be the highest paid winger in the game and he's won four premierships.

      • Lol who are you replacing Lomax with when he leaves ?

While 650 is alot Lomax is a SoO and international winger when available and if you haven't got anything to replace it you have to pay.

Good on Melbourne and Brisbane but hey Riff are idiots for paying Brian To'o similar coin are they.

    • And yet Ryles seems very much ok about it. Lomax told my source where I heard this yesterday before released that Ryles took the news exceptionally well. Could Ryles see Lomax as great but not worth the money? I'm not saying he is or isn't but Ryles seems not too worried.

      • He could well do but he better have an answer for it as guys like the mentioned are that important.Hes our Brian To'o.

How many wingers do you see up n coming that can come in and have Lomax's input  I'd suggest very few.As I don't see any on the market either.

I m actually hoping r360 is Storm in a teacup.I got a coaching friend of mine weighing up the mentioned r360 option also.He was speaking to his agent and he reckons there's at least 20-30 top tier NZ rugby players ready to jump and there shit scared of the nrl scouts getting into nz secondary schools first 15 rugby poaching talent as NZR pathways  just aren't as lucrative to keep young players in the game and the lure of the AB jersey is wearing thin .Basically young players want it now.

        • I think players don't care about the future of R360, only fear at the moment is will they be paid. Many of them will play a year or two, get the massive pay check and piss off. Lomax plays 2 years, gets $6mil and could live off that for rest of his life and make good money back in league.

i believe it happens, but for how long?

        • Well just have to see what he has planned. Could he be just good about it as he is that way as a person or coach? Or is it a strategic decision? Or could he be putting on a brave fave where deep down he is livid and worried?

I don't know, all it was is Ryles took it well and was open to negotiating.

I mean it seemed different with Simonsson where it seems he got him back on side to stay. So not like every player he has say they want out he just toes the line.

Lomax is our To'o but man To'o is better. For his size the shit he can do is insane.
