Just listening to Braith Anasta who has stated that Lomax won't be playing with Parra in 2026 and that's he's basically signed with Rugby Union. Anasta reckons he will not play NRL again and will likely move to UK to prepare for the October start of his Union deal. Hope this isn't correct but it wouldn't surprise me. Anasta is normally reasonably accurate. So Eels need a new winger for 26 onwards

RWC will I imagine be just as negative about R360 as the NRL, so I don't think there will be any RWC sweeteners going the way of defectors from any source.
This competetion and they are talking about a 11/12 man code, is and becomes a circus. Perfect for the over 35 age groups picking up some dough at the twilight end of their careers.
I wonder how Semi Radradra is going in Union overseas. He hasn't returned so I imagine he's a happy Vegemite building up his retirement fund.
Yeah CE, you can bet he'd be a contented camper at this moment.
And he deserves to be...what a winger he was, and his future is now secure.
I've always wondered if, in Europe, he's been able to gain quarterly leave breaks to return to his south pacific home as he did at Parra....
