Just listening to Braith Anasta who has stated that Lomax won't be playing with Parra in 2026 and that's he's basically signed with Rugby Union. Anasta reckons he will not play NRL again and will likely move to UK to prepare for the October start of his Union deal. Hope this isn't correct but it wouldn't surprise me. Anasta is normally reasonably accurate. So Eels need a new winger for 26 onwards

As long as Simonsson is around and up for it, this is no big deal and alleviates some space. If we sign Garrick, even better.
Simonsson - Penisini - Garrick - AddoCarr is quite a good backline.
Absolute Rubbish, there is no replacement for Lomax, he is irreplacable.....if he has gone, there is a reason we don't know about. He is the only one out of all potentials to go to R360......something has happened????????
Bailey is a better centre than a winger but is 3 levels lower than Lomax.
360 may have offered a serious bonus to the first mover....would be a smart move

CE is renowned to getting things arse up.....could he have been watching a replay of the period when this was very hot. CE lives in Camel Country and they are not all smoking Camels out there....

It does seem odd that Lomax seems to be the only one rumoured to actually be going to 360.
His trajectory in the NRL was still going up and he was getting the representative honours to show it.
If the money being talked about is real I would have expected to see other credible rumours of more players leaving. Just seems odd.
If this is true (and it looks to be) then Lomax either knows something all the others don't, or he's just willing to gamble his career more readily.
I'd say Lomax and his manager have done their due diligence, wouldn't be surprised if a payment has already been made, I don't think Lomax would go into it without some sort of assurance. Money is no object with these Saudis, V'landys calls it a cornflakes comp, one cornflake out of that box could buy the NRL 10, 20, 30 times over, i think deep down, V'landys is shitting bricks. There may be players just sitting and waiting, for that one high profile player to jump ship, and if everything is legit, bye, bye NRL.
