Just listening to Braith Anasta who has stated that Lomax won't be playing with Parra in 2026 and that's he's basically signed with Rugby Union. Anasta reckons he will not play NRL again and will likely move to UK to prepare for the October start of his Union deal. Hope this isn't correct but it wouldn't surprise me. Anasta is normally reasonably accurate. So Eels need a new winger for 26 onwards

Reuben Garrick rumours swirled for some time.
If true we are really in a world of shit with our recruiting and retaining. We have only signed a bloke with no club, a kid looking to do so,e weird fucking guest appearance as he needed a spot to sleep for a season , and our arguably second best players told us he's staying with us only to fly out the door once his pens put to paper and it's official.
Where the fucks our salary cap going ? Either Moses is on a shit tonne more than the resident site know all dope will have you believe, or we are paying gigantic overs to a bunch of rookies.

Oh. He reminds of W Penisni. I think Bloomfield and Sorovi are the best out of our backs. Both wingers. Andes probably our best centre coming through for us with Moala.
Thought Bloomfield was a centre/fullback? Haven't seen him named at wing.
He played fullback last year in HM. Despite being a year young, he was one of the best players on the comp. This year he started at fullback and after HM poor start to the season he got moved to centre. He has a pretty quiet season especially considering the 2024 form. He found form in school footy (both league and union). He played inside centre mainly in union and wing in league during this time.Defence is his weakness. But I back him to suceee at centre or wing long term with his talent.
Oh you see Bloomfield as a Winger EA? What about Bamblett? Do you think he could be a Winger/Centre? Also what about the likes of Rokosuka and Alamaddene?
Thing about Wingers is you can find a diamond in the rough pretty well anywhere. Like Sivo for example or Semi. Not saying it is easy but of all positions you can find a Winger better than most positions from nowhere.
Do what Coryn constantly says and look at NZ, Fiji and the pacific islands for Wingers.
