"The Parramatta Eels can confirm that Zac Lomax has been granted an immediate release from his playing contract to pursue opportunities outside the NRL.

The Club would like to thank Zac for his contribution during his time with the Eels in 2025 and we wish him all the best for the future."

I think this will be followed by some good news. I think the reason this has taken a while to be finally confirmed is Ryles has been doing some behind the scenes cooking, and maybe we will like what gets dished up, fingers crossed.

Ever since we caught wind of this and that Parra was ok with it, it was going to happen. I assume Ryles has something up his sleeve as MON would probably not and probably wears singlets.

Next few weeks or so could be interesting, and lets not forget the NRL are diminishing the talent with these two new teams....

Surely known by Parra for some time and the reason he didn't go on the kangaroos tour. Gees we must have some money left in the cap. Even allowing for upgrades and signings of Pezet and Da Silva, the departures of Reg, Brown, Gutho, Ofa, Lomax & Lane must have freed up some serious coin
