Brisbane captain Darren Lockyer is set to miss two NRL matches with a rib cartilage injury.
Lockyer saw a doctor on Monday and was advised he should take two weeks off to recover from the injury suffered in a crunching tackle by Luke O'Donnell during Friday night's 34-26 win over North Queensland in Townsville.
The Test skipper is likely to miss Friday's crucial Suncorp Stadium clash with Parramatta and the round 24 game against Newcastle at EnergyAustralia Stadium.

Any thoughts? Certainly makes Friday night a little easier.

Hopefully they both get off, particularly Smith.
We need his solid defensive work!
Fui cleared... Smith to miss 1 week!. Bugger!
Although of course DA would be telling the team this or at least not letting Brisbane know we'll be targeting his replacement.
