Apparently some board meetings were recorded and recording kept...
"Audio recordings of Parramatta board meetings are at the centre of findings by NRL investigators that have crippled the Eels' season and, in an unprecedented move, left three board members and two club officials facing expulsion from the game.
In a further development, Parramatta director Andrew Cordwell, an accountant, demanded in the meeting with Greenberg and Weeks that half of their $1 million fine be deployed towards auditing other clubs. Weeks replied that that would not be happening."
Of course not- we wouldn't want the world to see how the system really works.
Level playing field anyone?

How do the Papers get this info.... Integrity unit hey NRL....
Perfectly legal if it was the club who recorded the meeting themselves with the consent of the board who was there..
From the reports that's what happened and we stored said recordings on club computers.
The stupidity is astounding.
When a Board meeting is to be recorded, a vote must be taken, and all members must vote for the meeting to be recorded.
If anyone dissents, then the meeting cannot be recorded.
I'd also like to hear the NRL's interview with Scott Sewerage.
There have been leaks aplenty but no Sewerage leaks?
Maybe this bloke was one of the smarter one's getting out when he did?
*Bump. ^^
