Last week against the Sharks it never worked once. We would be better either kicking deep or a grubber over the line. The only exception maybe is when we are no more than 30metres out and we try an up and under for Semi. However not too many.

I agree - it appeared to be a strange tactic. Why not go for a repeat set
LOL - last year you lot were complaining that the grubber was the ONLY kick Robbo had in his bag of tricks and he should have been "going to the air" - now you want it back again.
A good player with vision will mix up his kicks according to what is in front off him - one of my complaints about Dozey has been his inability to mix up his game.
He is way too slow between the ears UNDER PRESSURE.
A different approach could be getting the ball to Taka - he was kicking beautifully end of last year that led to a number of tries.
Kaysa with a few short grubbers and forwards charging through.
High kicks, particularly in the wet, have a high percentage of the catcher spilling the ball under pressure from kick chasers.
Just mix it up and go for repeat sets if points don't come our way.
Well said Wylie - agree 100%
