To me, i'm concerned we do have a recruitment closing problem, and there is a lot more the club can do to get it right and to give Jason Ryles and Mitch Moses their first choice players they need to play some finals footy, and perhaps even win a premiership. Surely we cannot keep doing what we have been doing once we identify a target. Missing out on them should be an anomaly not a constant.

Mark has held the role for a long time now, and with this tenure must mean positive results on his KPIs. I'm just confused as to what those KPIs might be...
I'm genuinely baffled as to how our current GM of Football could be judged as a success warranting him retaining his position.
Captain with the club having diabolical standards, if Mark does not take out his doodle at a club function like he did at the tigers then he has met his KPI.

Ther a always been amiss off the park.For me we started the move backwards when Gurr left and handed responsibility over to McElduff and co and now we are where we are at now.
There is some positive and alot of it around but the guy I've had a good yarn to believes Parra are at least 4-5 years a way and that's with everything going there way.Its the reason why he left Parra and cameback to Union he wanted a win now proposition and from what he mentioned to me Parra aren't there yet.
There's a seriously smart operator now available in Shane Richardson who i think will take the opportunity at a stable club like Parramatta. But it seems Sarantinos and the board won't make tough decisions.
Richardson is a proven winner. He turned Souths into a premiership winner and made some great signings at Wests who previously won 3 spoons and were the most unattractive club in the comp with a boardroom full of bozos. He also helped Penrith to their first premiership.
Sign Richardson now. Mon had previously made a mess of our development and the club needed a major rebuild after 2022. The club is relying on Ryles to much and need a smart operator to let Ryles concentrate on coaching.
Right now Sarantinos and his honchos like putting total blame on the head coach, just as the did when bushie was being ousted. They enjoy saying the head coach has has full control of recruitment and retention and the first and last say. Thats a load of bs and buck passing

I really don't care about what ai says. My post is just a general observation I've had about the club since before brad was sacked. Sarantinos and O'neill haven't taken enough responsibility for the clubs failings.
While I admit were on the improve, it seems that the club are putting too much responsibility on the head coach and need to reassess mark O'Neill’s position, especially when a smart operator like Shane Richardson becomes available
