I see Timmy Smith is playing. Had the best cutout pass I've seen, even to this day. So damn sad he had bi-polar, he was probably the best halfback we had since sterlo.

Paul Carige is playing as well. Had the best catch and step into touch I’ve seen. Damn shame he doesn’t have bi-polar as that doesn’t give the dopey kent any excuses.

I have read a bit about Paul Carige since he retired from first grade. He captain coached a side in Queensland and then became a school teacher. I think this will be one of the first times he has shown his face in the last 20 years.

  I agree with you I’ve said that before. Carige was a decent player he scored some memorable tries and saves some too. The chip and chase was silly but at least he was trying something. Brian Smith overreacted to that game from him.

I've never understood the hate for Carige. In his 2 seasons, was a very solid player. Even in that ill-fated game, he played well. His brain snap didn't cost us the game. We were already done well before Halligan kicked that goal

  Sometimes enigmas like this just snowball from nothing. Sure there were 17 players involved in that collapse, but a couple of things Carige did were mind-boggling, that's why he is always the one people think of and blame.
  
  Think of it like Ben Hunt dropping the kick off in extra time in the GF a couple of years ago. He wasn't the sole cause of why the game went to extra time, but his drop is what everyone will remember forever.
