We have to tell our football department how to suck eggs. What say we sign up BIG Willie Mason on a one year deal? Should be able to get him on reasonable coin. Lets face facts squarely in the eye. We would only get 15 minutes a game from Willie. Sometimes, a good 15 minutes, sometimes, not so good. Willie M would, however, give us the height and bulk that we need to front up to the monsters other clubs are flaunting at us. Willie has the habit of getting on the wicks of front row opponents with his childish repartee,
which would help us somewhat. Without being unduly insulting any comments? It is not exactly "Last Tango In Paris" but the next best thing in the West!

Snake, your right of course, re needing backs. But, I am concerned about lack of height and bulk in the front row. We may have 700 forwards, so what is wrong with playing 17 forwards in our team!! I saw it happen once . The Pommy touring side picked 13 forwards to play NSW on the Sydney Cricket Ground. As soon as the first whistle sounded it was on for young and old. Stiff arms, head highs, punches, elbows ,knees, kicks, broken heads, cut eyes and a general disregard for the rules. The referee had enough and called the game off! They thought that there may have been a riot. But not so. The players walked off the field with their arms around each other! Those were the days.
Players like Willy, Rose and co. will become redundant.

Noooo way he is useless most of the time have enuff old buggers in team now on holiday. Him and Watmough in team at same time would mean 13 against our 11.
