Last Dragons Player the Eels Recruited?

I know that Steve Edge was a St.George player and won a Grand Final with them and was definitely a great signing. There was also Mark (Piggy) Riddell who wasn't to bad either. Can't think of anyone else

    • Didn't know Wagon and Wicks were ex dragon players

      • Yeah wagon was a dragons winger. If memory serves me correctly he had one of the best try saving tackles you'll ever see the the year before we got him over. It was in the in goal from memory.

    • Beau Scott came from Knights

      • Thought Wicks did as well

  • Did Reddy come from the Dragons

  • Rory O'Brien

    Jai Field

    Justin Poore

    Henry Perenara

    Mark Riddell

    Craig Stapleton

    Darren Treacy

    Daniel Heckenberg

And one of the best we have got from St. George, Daniel Wagon.

These are the ones i remember from my time watching

All ones that left Dragons to us. Treacy played ESL for year then us but still count him.

If you are counting ones who played for St. George Illawarra at one point then went to another club before us, there are plenty more.

  • Ian Herron ? or did he go to Tigers first then us or other way around ??

  • John Chapman and Bobby Bugden.

a coupl of players from their golden days became Eels Coaches. Ken Kearney, Ian Walsh, Norm Provan and later Brian Smith.

  • What Eels players went to St Gerorge?

    • How soon we forget Corey Norman yell
