Kyle Fraser

This talented SG player was brought to our attention with a video posted a month or two ago of his highlights of playing with the Eels in 09, and people asking where did he now play, and how did we not retain him in the first place?

I went to school with his now girlfriend, and asked her to update me. He did play for Penrith last year and was there for year. Penrith dropped him in December because he wasn't achieving full form.

Parramatta re-signed him, and from what I have heard he is very grateful and happy to be playing in the blue and gold. Fraser has also gotten even bigger, and is playing as a starting front rower this weekend.

In the past he has played as second row, lock or centre and has natural playmaking, fending, and offloading abilities.

This weekend in the SG Eels vs Panthers trial, he will be a starting front rower. The game starts at 5:30pm on Saturday at CUA Stadium.

  • WHAT A MONSTER. Hopefully the dogs or Sharks don't pick him up
  • The best part of that for me is the run at the 2:38 mark of clip against the Raiders. Quick stepping on his own goal, big fends and then makes break and even when he's about to get run down, he switches the ball to his other hand to be able to try and fend again. That sort of quick thinking is not all that common in younger blokes, especially running flat out with 3 opposition blokes chasing you. Impressive.
  • Mmmm....I think I'll just forward that clip to the club management.
  • Maybe you guys could offer him the $300 million? If not he wont be leaving Parra
  • The best part:

was people watching him last saturday against Tigers,

He had a run in the 1st Wenty Trial and had abouts 20 mins in the 2nd Wenty Trial before main game. He Also suited up for 1st grade but did not get a run.

He play was effective, with footwork he always beat the first defender and had a few nice offloads

nothing overly as spectacular as his video but solid all round.

Here's hoping he continues on and presses hard for a spot.

  • That's what I said up above if you read again, he has put on more weight so now he is playing at prop at the moment.
  • What sort of supporter signs up on another teams site?? Really!! Go back to Cronulla
    • leave boom boom alone  , shes fine , she has been a great supporter of this site for a very long time . Sharkie is cool , make no mistake
      • Ok  sorry Sharkiesboomboomboom. But dont forward that clip on lol
        • Haha...That's ok Jaid. You haven't been the first and won't be the last to think I'm a troll.

And thanks for the support,Electrifying Maxforce Eels 2011 and Wild_Eels.

I see Keon's price as irrelevant (within reason), because he is an absolute no brainer for the Eels.
