Tbh I think that says more about our year then it does of how good he was. Reg is one of my favourite players but he was notably down this year and really only started picking up around the time it was reported he was told he was free to leave.
He will be 32 next year and on decent coin. If we were a top 8 team with some youth in the pack I dearsay we'd probably keep him. But with an aging forward back and a team competing for the spoon, we need a bit of a reset.
Absolute champion and will be missed but the right call imo. I'm glad it seems like it wasn't on bad terms either.
