Was surprised when I saw this story. Had anyone heard anything about this?
I think he has been progressing really well and was hoping he would be sticking around.

We are bound to lose someone soon. We have a few juniors knocking on the door, we are looking for middles anyway, and we still have Paulo, Hopgood, Moretti, Doorey, Mataele, Guymer, De Belin, Walker, Tuivati, Jack Williams who would all feel like they can get games as middles.
We will have a minor shuffle surely at end of 2026 especially if we sign a big name middle.
I would let at least 5 of them go before Moretti
I recon Mataele will leave. JDB may not get extended for that reason. Guymer will leave for a better opportunity I recon.
