Kiwis star Kevin Proctor is on the verge of a shift to the Gold Coast Titans in a four-year deal reported to be worth $2m.

The Courier-Mail reports that the Storm have given the green light to Proctor to negotiate with the Titans as the Melbourne franchise struggle with salary cap constraints.

The Titans see Proctor, 27, as the ideal player to replace veteran Greg Bird.

“We are definitely in talks with him,” Titans operations chief Tony Mestrov told the Courier-Mail with the paper suggesting an annual salary of $500,000 in a three-year deal with an option for a fourth.

    • Who is this Pulu Paul?

    • His form hasn't been consistent. Good player on his day though.
    • Great, another forward with the same nuggety build like all the others! Vave, Brown, Wicks, Mannah. Excite me with large, tall forward like a Jordan Maclean.....please?
    • Fair call forty. I was obviously thinking of someone else. Just goes to show the impression Pulu has made on me. Ha.
