Bloody hell. Sign him already
Sheens told Stuart that Robbie Farah was a origin player and Stuart disagreed with him, which started their feud!!
Stuart is either extremely stubborn or he doesnt like to lower himself into saying it wasnt his idea.
He had better change the way he thinks quickly..
Ricky needs more time Frankie, he has taken the reigns of a club in serious crisis and in a massive hole, im going to wait until mid or the end of next year to make a call on him, you could be right about him frankie, but i still have faith.
I am actually going to wait until the end of next year. You can't really judge any coach on this roster.
Fair comments Snake & Patsy, sensible reminders for fans to give RS a little time before being judgemental. I include myself in that reminder as I was becoming critical of RS because of some of his recent selection decisions. In saying that, I must admit that I just don't understand why he keeps persisting with Sio & Vai Toutai however he may see something in them for the future which frankly I don't.
We also need to remember that the squad that he inherited left a lot to be desired.
Agreed mick, Ricky needs plenty more time, theres always a few things we dont like about any coach, like i hate ricky blaming the refs at the pressers, and some of his selections are hard to work out, but he has taken the hardest coaching gig in the game and without our biggest defender in hindy this year, he has been left with a disaster by SK, he needs plenty of time to dig us out of this mess,
When you're being sarcastic you're supposed to add lol or :-D
Ricky did take the Sharkies to one game away from a GF in 08, and they were knocked out by cheating scum. And that was after losing Bird halfway through the season. That squad was hardly what you would call outstanding. Stuff transpired off the field out of his control which didn't help him. I've never been his biggest fan but he at least needs 3 years minimum to show us what he and his staff can do. This year was always going to be a right off.
Hi Al, I don't think Parra has any other option but to fully support RS for time being & give him a fair go. We have had so many coaches recently that another change would now be untenable unless RS did a BS & bolted.
Even then, I think Parra would have buckleys in attracting another quality coach with a proven track record as we have probably worn out the coach's welcome mat & if RS can't turn us around, our next coach will probably be another assistant coach wanting to prove himself at NRL level, aka SK or a second tier coach.
Agree with all of this Micheal, Ricky has to succeed here he just has too. Otherwise i fear for the club. We have become a graveyard for coaches since Smithy was punted.
